A liberated voice...

The killings of three bloggers in Bangladesh reiterates my faith in the phrase ''pen is mightier than the sword".

The killers who were backed by anti human fundamentalists are yet to be traced though bangladesh political establishment suspects the hands of Pakistani supported jamaat e islami group.

The bloggers Avijit Roy,Washiqur Rahman and Ananta Bijay Das were critical of the rise of fundamental forces in Bangladesh and saw it as a threat to the sacrifices made by Muktibahini in 1971 for the establishment of a secular bengali republic.

Let us not forget that the undivided Bengalis throughout the history of subcontinent have produced greatest thinkers and seculars of our times and have always been the torchbearers of uprisings against British Raj or later Pakistani Rape Raj.....

It is natural that Pakistan still can not forget the unhealed humiliating defeat of 1971 at the hands of Indian Army and Muktibahini and subsequent trials of many of its supporters in Bangladesh.

The execution of militant anti bangla war criminal Abdul Qadar Mollah made pakistani parliament pass a resolution condemning it....similar to the one passed on the execution of Afjal Guru in India.

These two incidents are separate yet similar as both the executed criminals were pro pakistani militants. Pakistan has harboured anti India sentiments since its founding day and has used religious fundamentalism as a tool to cut thousand wounds on India. The rise of an India friendly Bangladesh is a threat to their design as their idea of surrounding India with pro pakistani establishment gets destroyed there.

When bloggers voice out the pains of millions from 1971 torchers the bangla society harbours an anti pakistan sentiment and rises above religion for realising the dreams of founders of Bangladesh which is a direct threat to pakistani design.

Hitler burned libraries so that no one read about liberal ideas and teachings of liberty, equality and universal brotherhood. China bans books and  movies that are anti communist and pro democracy. It's actions are evident in censoring internet so people can not get information on tianmen square uprisings.

Since Pakistan is not well equipped to put an internet blockade on Bangladesh it resorts to supporting fundamental elements who are ready to kill bloggers who expose the designs of anti Bangladesh pro pakistan terrorists.

I wouldn't love to call the terrorists who killed Avijit and Anant as islamists as they killed another brave blogger a true muslim Washiqur Rahman.

It was Pakistan which humiliated bengali speaking muslims as second class citizens and Urdu speakers as true blue Muslims through their infamous rape camps...Mind you....the purest of  Muslims who are not necessarily Urdu speakers yet the foremost torchbearers of Allah's blessings on humanity reside in my Bharatabhumi....

The pakistani design may be able to kill a few bloggers but the voices of a billion peace loving Indians along with the bravest of the Bengalis from the other side of border will rise to show their white lies and we shall one day liberate millions of peace loving Pakistanis from their  suppressing fundamentalist masters and give them their day of victory much like in the dreams of a true human living in one of the remotest corners of Pakistan praying for the day his nation gets liberated from its evil masters.

We shall never forget 1947 and 1971.

Foot in Mouth Syndrome...a parody

This blog is in response to his holiness most Reverend ex Commerce Minister Mr. Anand Sharma's comments on our Defense minister Mr Manohar Pariker and National Security Advisor Keertichakra Sri Ajit Dowal.

While reacting to Indian Army's actions in myanmar in inflicting damage to terror groups playing Kabaddi with India.....the above mentioned his holiness Anand Sharma called the defense minister as one having foot in mouth syndrome and our NSA as a powerful PRO of government.

Mr Anand, I fail to understand how can giving a warning to groups which are hostile to India's integrity and sovereignty be called foot in mouth syndrome?? For 60 odd years your spineless colleagues in congress party wanted to have dialogue with Pakistan....achieving nothing and making India vulnerable to more terror attacks. Except Smt. Indira Priyadarshini whom I personally admire for her leadership in India's security concerns and India's best Pre Indira PM Lal Bahadur Shastri, all congress prime ministers have been spineless including Mr Jawaharla when it came to dealing with hostile neighbours. While patel solved much of India's problems  he did not live long, making it convinient for Nehru to stamp his authority on India's internal and external policies.

That sums up the spineless policy India followed under successive congress governments until Atal ji came around.

Yet you had Mr MMS and company to waste the services of India's finest spy for 10 years..In alienating people like Mr Ajit Dowal....you proved your party's anti national or to be less harsh on you....a pro america policy..everytime there was a problem your government's foot in mouth syndrome led to begging united states to warn Pakistan which they never did.

I dare your brethren to speak about foot in mouth syndrome again...people like me will open the pages of not so old history to show saints like mani shankar aiyar, Digvijay Singh and other honourable members of elite geriatric association having foot in mouth syndrome from times immemorial.

PS: I love parody so i called people unworthy of praise as saints and his holiness....I hate people who do not make sense while commenting on Indian security issues. This blog is dedicated to elite geriatric associations which contributed to India's downfall. Rest in peace gentlemen....Your services are not required anymore.

Hindu....not a religion

Religion, a western concept is alien to Hindu nation. Don't get me wrong, we argue that ours is the oldest and mother of all religions in the world..yet we forget that while being the pioneers of spiritual wisdom and torchbearers to the secrets of soul and God (atma and paramatma) our faith had never taken the form of what the west calls religion.

We never called ourselves under one name as it was the west that branded the faith of subcontinent as Hindu. The name was a diluted version of our reverred river Sindhu and our western border to ''Mlechchas".

We were never a faith preaching the name of one God to be all assuming supreme lord...as we saw God's form in six principal forms of Shiva, Shakti, Vishnu, Ganesha, Karthikeya and Surya. We saw every element to be manifestation of God and gave three crore names to those elements and status of God.

Religion, a middle east  and Western concept of a faith is a narrow concept of all hating one God who gives salvation to only his followers and calls your God a false God and only my lord to be the supreme.

We called our faith as Sanatana...meaning eternal...and we are the only faith having a Dharma...a way of life...We are eternal because we accept change just as the mighty river Ganga accepts fresh water from its tributeries. We change according to times yet hold on to our inner self Atma..to its core value of righteousness no matter which age we live in.

All that debate of calling our Dharma as a religion must end henceforth as it is an insult to the ideals of our timeless scientists called Rishis who gave the world Apaurusheya...the sacred knowledge created by lord and not man...in the form of Vedas and Smritis..through a tradition of Guru Shishya and method of Shruti.Rishis were the first Shrutas the ones who heard from lords voice and they continued the tradition.

We are the only faith in the world that saw divinity in man and called for the soul to discover its true potential..while the religions of the world were busy calling man a sinner..God forbid.

The rennaissance of Sanatan Dharma is possible only when we destroy the myth of a Hindu religion and give our society the utmost freedom to explore our spiritual literature free from gender and caste bias...much like our vedic ancestors.

Only then shall we have more Rishis and Brahmavadins emerge in modern age to guide a world thirsty for eternal knowledge..to free the soul from the bonds of religion and make it follow the way of life...towards Moksha..

Atmano mokshartham jagat hitayacha.

When a professional falls in love..

I am writing this post as I came accross a comment that i posted 4 years ago on a contest on the book titled When a lawyer falls in love...I have taken the liberty to redicule certain professionals falling in love. Please don't mind as I haven't even spared my profession..that of a banker..Okay let me get you in to this weird post..

When a lawyer falls in love his life becomes a case law with romantic twists
with better debates in relationship than in court room.He writes a book of love with new provisions and sections governing the couples' romantic relationship...he becomes a fierce debator trying to convince his would be father in law to give his daughter's hand in marriage...the debate being better than the one he makes for his clients in courtroom.

When a Policeman falls in love..the locked portion of his heart opens to the possibilities of his love life.He starts seeing his lover's name in every FIR he files and him being the accused of not having given enough time to his lady love.He day dreams of being put behind the bars in a room called his lover's heart. He dreams of becoming a supercop in love much like suriya or ajay devgn from singam..

When a Shakespearen teacher falls in love he starts finding his lady in every line the master poet decribes the beauty of a woman..He fears for his love life if it were to become another Romeo Juliet...forgetting the fact that you can shape your love life as you like it.

When a Writer falls in love he starts writing about the beauty of woman...his lady love appearing in different names as characters in his romantic literature..He makes her the ideal woman or someone from neverland...making his readers search in vein for such a woman..as there can be only one such woman who happens to  reside in the writer's heart.

When a Banker falls in love he loses track of how much he spent on his last date let alone remember how much balance his account has. He starts calculating the pros and cons that a relationship can offer and thinks if there is a better alternative? His life becomes hell as he feels the target given at his workplace is achievable than the demands of a relationship.

When a Software Engineer falls in love he thinks of creating a software that can understand the mood swings of his lover as his mind and heart have already been hired by the HR to be governed until the day he is fired. He starts going to gym to lose that extra fat at tummy developed by long hours of sitting. His life becomes beta version where every action of his is closely scrutinised by his lover and when at fault to be sent back for upgradation.

and finally

When a Doctor falls in love his mind starts searching for the newest drug in the market that can help infuse a bit of happiness inside him to be presentable on a date. He becomes a caselaw for fellow doctors as a live example of a disease called love for personal life. He starts developing symptoms like lack of anxiety  while treating a serious patient and a smile on his face when his duty ends for the day. His partner seems to him like a patient full of love towards him and he feels duty bound to treat her well in his full professionalism to make her feel like his best patient...in his own terms.

PS: This post is dedicated two of my friends one who is an engineer and the other a doctor...ofcourse I am a banker who happens to be writer..who is very much single. ;-D

Religion at mid night...a blog @ 12 am

The word religion invokes varied response from people. To marxist people it's an opeum and evil and they blame religion for all the problems of the world. The self declared spiritual leaders blame lack of religious practice as the root cause of world's problems.

The first category of atheists  destroy a culture in the name of creating an equal world. They confuse people with their ideas, who are already filled with identity crisis as to which god is great. I hate marxists because of their lack of faith in the human beings being capable of practicing rationality as well as religion. Marxists create a cult of anti cultural psychophants who worship their leader and blind ideology.

The second category of self proclaimed spiritual leaders destroy the purity of human heart by giving men the false promise of salvation through acts believed by themselves to be of correct nature. These creatures shower the world with superstitions and make humans believe in fiction instead of facts...doubt the laws of physics created by lord and look at science with doubting glance.

These two categories of people are not the enemies of religion but enemies of humanity. Humanity has long suffered in the hands of pseudo spiritual dumbos and cult worshipping marxists.

I am not an authority on religion...yet in my limited knowledge, my worldview of religion has become clear. I can say with confidence that it might not be flawless yet it is not fake.

My idea of religion is a society believing in higher power and abiding by eternal moral laws and believing and acting in the spirit of righteousness giving full freedom for the society to grow inspite of its shortcomings. People commit errors...but that can not make them less religious or non believers. People practicing religion in active form for long have overshadowed those practicing religion in passive form.

It is time for the passive righteous people to wake up and bring up on Hindu faith its second Rennaissance after 19 th century reforms.

A writer's Dream...a long blog

I started this blog way back in 2010-2011 with a dream of writing some meaningful things ..yet my virtual life on facebook was filled with my thoughts in the form of status updates.I was way too much busy liking commenting updating and again friending and unfriending. My photos thoughts and entire chain of my life revolved around facebook. Then in the winter of 2013  I decided enough was enough and started unfriending everyone and finally called it a day on facebook.

I thought my blog would get my attention..yet it was not to be. As the rush of Modi election campaign got momentum I rejoined twitter after a year of deleting it.I got myself in to random trending topics and played my role in mocking the fools and defending the hope of my nation my current prime minister.

Then after a few months of election I tweeted on a random trending topic of harper collins..asking people to suggest a book idea called as harper pitch. In the rush of adrenaline I tweeted a series of ideas that got re-tweets from harper collins. It was fun and i never took it seriously. But then came the shocker as it was not a simple book idea.It was a contest to aspiring writers and I had got an offer to submit my manuscript if ever there was one...for my supposedly interesting book idea on the life of bangladeshi refugees in India. That was not all. I had also won a book as a gift. I had to send my address via direct Twitter message to harper collins  to get the book. Yes I had a ready career of a writer in front of me from one of the leading publishers.

But somewhere deep when i reflected on my book idea I decided I was not going to write that as it was just an idea that came as a result of my adrenaline rush and  not a genuine desire. In one of those rare zen moments I decided if i ever write a book I will not write on a topic that is controversial, anti national and would make people burn its copies and create enmity among groups and communities.

It was also the time I was busy preparing for bank exams and had to make a conscious choice of where i wanted to end up. I chose the latter and today I am a probationary clerk in a reputed public sector bank waiting for my next big career move in the world of banking.

Writing has taken a backseat because of my career choice..But not my imagination. The people I meet daily..be it my colleagues or customers of the branch I am creating a reservoir of characters in my memory to set them free one day so that they speak out their lines through my pen and become the mediums through which I am going to live even after death..

Someone once said that words never die....may be they are immortal..they make people immortal..from shakespeare to tagore...Vivekananda to Netaji the words of people live forever...
I want my words to remain among the words penned and spoken by the pantheon of legends.

Back to where I started, I ll give enough attention to this blog as this is a sort of writer's dairy...

This is my dream...A writer's dream

PS: link to the tweet that made me write this blog after 8 months of winning harper pitch.

To Journalists with love from a fellow Indian

This blog is an answer to unasked questions indirectly posed by a journalist Mr Varghese K. George in his article featured on the Comment page of a prominent Indian daily The Hindu on 20 December 2014,Saturday.I have always refrained from taking names of journalists while writing an assessment on their ideological viewpoint, keeping myself strictly confined to the tradition of journalistic standards that our nation has seen in the past. This departure from my earlier stand utterly pains me, yet stands as the need of the hour when people in a highly responsible position of journalist, who are supposed to remain neutral and let the reader take a viewpoint have become the self appointed guardians of freedom of speech and every known area of human knowledge. While the journalists in television who have an excellent command over language and inimitable style of presentation examples being Arnab Goswamy, Rajdeep Sardesai, Barkha Dutt, Sagarika Ghose, Rahul Kanwal, Karan Thapar and Rajat Sharma have been tainted with opinionated news supporting a particular political ideology, the news papers have been less vocal. But there have been increasing cases of journalism taking a turn of entertainment as in the case of Times of India. Newspapers like Indian Express and The Hindu have set a standard for what is newsworthy and what is not.

It pains me immensely to see the journalists write supporting a particular political school of thought.

What is even more disturbing is their will to write against the idea of India being a truly Secular democratic republic in which any citizen belonging to any caste, race or religion and gender has the right to become the head of any Indian state no matter who are the majority people in that state namely Muslims or Hindus.

The writer of the artcle Mr Varghese seems disturbed that if BJP comes to power in Jammu and Kashmir, they might have a Hindu installed as the Chief Minister of the state where Muslims are a Majority. In his opinion not expressed directly and understood when read between the lines is a clear displeasure in a section of media on the emergence of BJP in Kashmir.

He goes on to point out the words of a PDP leader Nadeem Akhtar “When Jammu and Kashmir became a part of India in 1947, that was the first time in the 1400-year-old history of Islam that a Muslim nation became part of a secular, democratic country.”

This quoting of a thought is not a departure from journalistic ethic. But what follows is branding of National Conference and People's Democratic Party as pro India parties and the nationalistic cries of BJP in the call for Kashmir being a normal part of India are as communal and call for the development of the valley as Amit Shah- Narendra Modi combine's merchantile approach to Kashmir.

Dear Mr Journalist(not specific here) you have the right to write anything under the sun as proclaimed by the champion of Independence and pre-independent India's foremost nationalist freedom fighter and a torchbearer of fierce journalistic independence Sri Bal Gangadhar Tilak.
But Lokmanya Tilak launched Kesari with a nationalistic outlook and it was one of the foremost newspapers proclaiming Indian nationalism on the lines of Times of India and your own newspaper The Hindu.

Let's not forget that Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru had in 1932 Lahore declaration called for complete Independence or poorna swaraj from a part which is today's Pakistani Punjab. To the same Nehruvian School of thought initially the idea of poorna swaraj was dear which later faded out due to the advancing age of India's freedom fighters and a lack of clarity in the leadership of Nation's father Mahatma Gandhi in post Jinnah Era.

The founding fathers of this nation wanted the parts from Kashmir to Kanyakumari to be fully integrated in India with equal rights to people of all communities in all states irrespective of the caste and community name displayed in their birth certificate.

It was in the national interest and needs of the time the article 370 and a host of other laws were passed in 1947 and 1950's. The times have changed and people need to move on to a better future which is impossible without the complete integration of Kashmir in to India.

If the revered journalists of the land where God walked do not represent the secular idea of India, where a Hindu has the right to become the chief minister of a state with Muslim majority and a Muslim the right to become the chief minister of a state with Hindu or Sikh majority, I bow before them praying for their speedy recovery in to representing the Right (not right wing) idea of India !

I call it Bharat and do not have a problem with people calling it India. But if they have a problem with a Sampoorna Bharat from Kashmir to Kanyakumari joining Vaishnodevi to Ananta Padmanabha and Rozabel Shrine to Santhome all in one nation I pity them for their ignorance..

End.
